Квест-игра «Sights of London»

Актуальность работы:
В процессе реализации квест-игры происходит интеграция образовательных областей, комбинирование разных форм работы и видов деятельности. Это позволяет решать образовательные задачи в совместной деятельности учителя и учащихся, самостоятельной деятельности обучающихся. В этом и заключается актуальность применения квест-игр на занятиях иностранного языка.
Практическая значимость:
Разработанная квест-игра может быть использована для работы с обучающимися 9-10 классов как на уроке (английский язык), так и во внеурочной деятельности.
Теоретическая значимость:
Определение возможностей квест-игры для эффективности занятий на уроках английского языка и во внеурочной деятельности, а также повышение интереса учащихся к английскому языку.
Возраст участников:
9-11 классы
Правила проведения квест-игры «Sights of London»:
На 7 станциях учащихся ждут разнообразные задания. Каждая команда за определённое время должна выполнить ряд заданий и достичь результата – собрать максимально возможное количество баллов. На каждой станции за правильные ответы команда получает определенные баллы и букву из которы на финальной станции должны составить слово. Прохождение каждой станции даёт возможность перейти к следующей станции.
Участники квеста:
3 команд (1команда – 9 класс, 2 команда – 10 класс, 3 команда – 11 класс) по 6 — 7 игроков в каждой.
Организаторы квеста:
учителя английского языка, отвечающие за прохождение командами каждой отдельной станции.
Место проведения квеста:
учебные классы
Оборудование:
- листы оценок жюри (по количеству команд);
- реквизит на станциях;
- задания для каждой станции;
- сертификаты победителям и участникам;
- статуя Биг Бена
Подготовительная работа:
- подготовить задания для каждого этапа с учетом уровня подготовки
команд;
- определить кабинеты для станций;
- проинструктировать учителей-смотрителей станций;
- прикрепить таблички на двери;
- оформить учебные кабинеты
Длительность проведения квеста: 1 час. 30 мин.
Критерии оценки и подведение итогов:
По итогам квест-игры определяется победитель. Участники команды, занявшее первое место, награждаются сертификатами победителей и дается статуя, остальные команды награждаются сертификатами участников.
Teacher: Hello everybody! Would you like to learn more about the capital of the UK? I offer you to visit it. Look at the map please! It’s Great Britain. Who can find England on the map? And where is London? (Дети показывают на карте Лондон).
Today we are going to travel to London. You know that London is the capital of Great Britain. You will visit many interesting places. I hope that will be great travelling. There are three teams, which has great opportunity to visit sights of London. Now you should choose the captain of your team and come up with a name for the team. You are going to visit six beautiful sights of London. In each station you will complete tasks for a certain time and get points. For correct answer, you will get points. At the end of each station, you will receive a hint to another station and letters with which you will have to guess the sights of London at the last station. What team will do all the tasks on time and gain more points, get a prize. Now we determine by lot which team will get to which station. Let’s start our travelling! Good luck!

In fact, many people want to keep his work on the walls of their building as it adds value to the property because it is considered by many to be a valuable work of art.
